The Opportunity

This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the internal development team and delivering software solutions that support complex business operations. You’ll manage development resources, own systems integrations, and work directly with senior leadership to ensure the company’s tech stack is efficient, secure, and built to scale.

You’ll be stepping into a fast-paced, high-growth environment where technology is central to how the business evolves and integrates new acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of in-house developers and external partners, with ownership over all internal software initiatives.
  • Oversee projects involving ERP customization, internal tooling, system integrations, and operational automation.
  • Manage software delivery lifecycles, ensure code quality, and enforce modern development practices (CI/CD, version control, testing).
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Guide the integration of newly acquired companies into existing ERP and tech ecosystems.
  • Partner closely with teams across order management, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, and eCommerce (B2B & B2C).
  • Contribute to IT strategy and roadmap planning in collaboration with executive leadership.
  • Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and compliant with relevant policies and standards.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience leading software development teams in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP etc), including integrations and data flow between platforms.
  • Solid knowledge of system architecture, API design, and enterprise application integration.
  • Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with modern development languages and frameworks (e.g., .NET, JavaScript, Python, etc.).
  • Comfortable working within cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, and infrastructure automation.
  • Experience in data and reporting, including ETL workflows, dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI), or data warehousing.
  • Strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a track record of stakeholder management.
  • Experience in post-acquisition system consolidation or private equity–backed businesses is a strong plus.

Bonus/Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with security best practices, access control, and compliance in distributed systems.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and tools like Jira or Confluence.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics-heavy environments.

Why Join?

  • Join a company undergoing transformative growth with strong backing and long-term vision.
  • Lead a tech function that’s core to the company’s operational success and M&A strategy.
